Kgomotso Children Centre
It has been a great surprise for christmas! The Department of Social Development gave away 18 buckets of food while Desmondi provided KCC children with one hundred christmas gifts.
From Desmondi TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) each child received a ball, a face cloth, a ruler, pencils, two pens, chocolate, and other sweets. Thanks to the Department of Social Development each volunteer took one bucket as a thank-you gift for their efforts last year. A bucket had 1 kg of sugar, 2,5 kg of rice, six cans of beans, fish, and jam, two packets of jelly, 1 kg of salt, 1 litre of oil, 500 g of milk, a small packet of biscuits, a chocolate, and 1 l of juice. The other ten buckets stayed at KCC. With that support KCC will be fine with food for about one month.
