At KCC we have an exchange programme with the German Don Bosco Club in Cologne. It was established in 2012. It started to function on 1 February 2013. On this day, 1 February 2013, a total number of ten Germans arrived here in South Africa at OR Tambo airport and visited KCC for two weeks. We had a lot of fun playing together and parting was such sweet sorrow.
Moreover, they helped us to continue building and furnish our children centre. The state chancellery of the Land North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, had granted money not only to pay off our stand but to buy chairs, tables, an oven and a fridge, computers, a printer and the like.
Now, KCC children plan and prepare to visit the children of Don Bosco Club in their hometown of Cologne, Germany.
