Arts and Culture can be considered the heart of KCC. It was through dancing and drama that Kgomotso started to gather kids around her in 2008. Still, dancing is very popular among the boys and girls and their performances are part of every celebration taking place at the KCC. The dance group is regularly invited to perform on different occasions in Soshanguve, Pretoria or other towns in the Gauteng province. In 2011, they even performed for HRH The Duchess of Cornwall during her visit to South Africa.
Since 2015 KCC has a drama group which is practicing regularly at KCC. It is inviting children and adolescents to come and try their talents. The concept of the drama group is to take in experiences of life in the township and bring it on stage.
Through the arts of dancing, poetry, drama, and public speaking children learn about their talents. Moreover, they gain self-esteem and self-confidence. The goal of KCC is to see children grow up to become strong and stable indivduals in society.
