The last few months boys and girls of KCC have been touring Gauteng province. They were invited to perform their dance routines to the delight of many spectators at a great number of occasions.
In August, KCC was part of the main festival of the Feast of the Clowns in the city of Pretoria. Just few weeks later they took part in the Gauteng carnival celebration in Johannesburg. One of the hosts had seen them dance at the Feast of the Clowns and invited them to the Joburg carnival. In between those two events the KCC dance troupe had another thrilling performance at the opening ceremony of the new Botshilu Private Hospital in Soshanguve.
The next month KCC was invited to dance at two parties, one in Soshanguve Block PP and another one in Wonderboom Park where they danced for a sponsor of the children centre.
In October, they took part in a dance competition in the neighbouring township of Winterveld. With 23 groups from Tshwane and Mabopane competing that day the KCC dancers came in third place. The girls and boys were very happy that their hours of practicing had paid off and led to such great success.
The last performance so far was at a children's concert at Danville Clinic Hall, Pretoria, hosted by Sediba community church. It was an arts day where different groups performed their items. KCC once more caused a stir and people were impressed by their performances. So, it seems likely that more dance performances are going to follow, soon.
