In June KCC boys were surprised by a donation of fourteen soccer jerseys from a German youth welfare institution. It took not long and the newly founded team played their first friendly match.
After a week of intense training and excitement they were ready to go for the challenge. They faced a church youth team from another block of Soshanguve. Proud to wear their new jerseys they played well as a team. Everyone did their best. It was Sbusiso, Sigola, Innocent, Nhlanhla, and Lawrence who scored in the 7 - 8 defeat to the other team.
Anyway, when they came back to KCC they got a surprise lunch which made them forget about the defeat quickly. At the table they held encouraging speeches and motivated each other to practice even more. If they keep up that team spirit they can be sure that they will do much better in their next match.
