At KCC children enjoy the programmes and activities. Staff is now supported by students from two universities in Pretoria and parents who help to keep the centre nice and clean.
The KCC relies on support of people getting involved in supporting the children and adolescents of Soshanguve. Donors who support the centre financially or by in-kind donations. Volunteers running programmes for children and adolescents. Since February students from University of South Africa and Tshwane University of Technology do their internships at KCC. They are involved in fundraising as well as in social work.
Beyond that, parents who are appreciating the work done at KCC are getting involved more and more. Two of them have been cooking for children for years. Now, every Monday six parents come in the morning to wipe and sweep the place. This is of great help as after one week and hundreds of children and adolescents having walked in and out the centre an intensive housecleaning is more than necessary.
We are very thankful for any kind of support that helps to see our children centre flourish.
