The optometrists sent by Brian Holden Vision Centre came to test eyes of community members at KCC. More than 300 men and women came to get tested from June 19 to June 24.
Prior to the testing we had done a campaign in the neighborhood inviting everybody to come. And it was not only children and adolescents to make it to the testing days. What was planned to be only two days of testing became such a big success that all in all it took some extra days to get everybody tested. Most of the 300 men and women who came were pensioners. That is why it took four days, but still they did not finish. Children were tested on Monday, June 24.
