You want to lend a helping hand? There is many ways of supporting the children and youth at KCC. You may work as a volunteer. You may donate money or non-money items. You may even help raising money.

Volunteering
In 2008, when we started, it was only two volunteers caring for 35 children. Luckily, with the increasing number of children and adolescents coming to KCC the number of volunteers grew, too. However, so far they do not receive any regular salary or stipend. All of them work passionately serving the needs of the children and adolescents with all their strength and resources.
The more volunteers there are, the more programmes we can run and the better we can serve the children and their very individual needs. Teaching them dance routines, helping them with their schoolwork and homework, preparing meals, or just engaging them in any sports or games - there is a huge variety of things and actitivities you can get involved in at KCC.
We want every child to grow up in an environment of safety where it can make its experiences and develop. Maybe, you have your own ideas and talents you can offer to KCC. Simply talk to us and we will find a way to get you involved.
Donating
Unfortunately, you say, Soshanguve is too far from your home? You do not have time to go and work with these children? That does not matter much. We are always looking for those who support the centre donating money or providing us with any in-kind donations. Food, clothes, toys and stationaries for the children, or equipement for our diverse programmes (sports, arts & culture, education) are always needed and much welcome.

Fundraising
If you do not have anything to give or if you want to give even more you may help us to raise money for KCC. There is innumerable ways of raising money and often it is not even inconvenient. One example is the idea of donating your birthday. Tell your friends and family to rather support children in need than giving a present to you. It is easily done and gives a lot of joy to our children and youth.
If you have run such a charity event successfully, tell us more about it and we will spread your creative idea.
Thanks to the generous giving of our supporters we are already able to obtain some of the most important things. They already decided to make a difference in the lives of children in Soshanguve. You may be the next in line.
