A beautiful display of young, vibrant and gifted ladies and lads was the big attraction of the afternoon of the 7th of April. The beauty pageant organized by the volunteers of the Kgomotso Children’s Centre (KCC) lured many of the neighbours into the centre’s yard in block NN, Soshanguve.
The 26 participants, aged between 9 and 18, strutted their stuff and moved with all the slick and swag they had in their attempt to attain the prestigious title of Miss or Mr KCC. The day was an eventful one with dance performances from the little ones and agile adolescents in between the three modelling sessions. The casual wear parade was first, followed by a beachwear session and then a Q&A session.
Ultimately, the three judges were able to reach a decisionon the girl and boy who would bear the highly-desired titles. As the stars lit up the night sky Miss KCC, Priscilla Nyalungo, and Mr KCC, Kgothatso Maswanganyi, were announced and crowned.
