The last weekend in April was dominated by soccer matches for boys and girls of KCC. While the young enjoyed their time at a tournament in Pretoria the older ones went to play at their home ground. The girls' soccer team had its first ever friendly match. They played against girls even older than them but did a good job. It was tough and they lost in the end but enjoyed it nonetheless.
Boys and girls under 13 went to Hatfield to participate in a tournament. Unfortunately, there was only one more team from VLC in Krugersdorp showing up. Headed by new Mr KCC they tried very hard but lost the game 0-6 in the end.
Finally, on monday the older boys played against Ebenezer soccer club to round up the soccer weekend. They were very happy to play in their new soccer kit which they had received from a donation, recently. Moreover, they had three new players including a new goal keeper playing in their team. It went very well and they won 4-3 with Lawrence scoring all four goals.
