On the road for KCC

In March we were visited by #GTISanitaryPadDrive. They came to donate sanitary items to the girls of KCC. We like to share what they wrote after their visit.

For our 1st Drive for 2019, we identified Kgomotso Children's Centre as our recipient after going through their website and seeing that it has amazing activities that we would like to be a part of.

Arriving at KCC and being welcomed with such warmth and love was the most mind blowing experience of our lives. As #GSPD, we had never seen anything of such beauty. The kids, KCC staff, parents and community members were more than excited to have us. We sang, danced and laughed and cried tears of joy as though we were all 1 big happy family. The kids had prepared the most touching musical items, alongside their mother Kgomotso to entertain us. It was without a doubt, the best Home we have ever been to. Everyone at #GSPD have voiced that we will dedicate another drive, specially for KCC.

We thank you KCC. We wish you all the best going forward, we hope you grow, prosper, and continue to make a difference in our communities.

#GTISanitaryPadDrive is a non-profitable organisation that was founded in 2018 by two friends who saw the need to make a difference in the lives of women and young girls. It consists of a group of friends who have become family through helping the less fortunate by mainly collecting sanitary pads from different individuals who willingly donate across Gauteng.
