A year to remember

Just before KCC closed its gates for the christmas holidays kids and parents were invited to attend the awards ceremony and end year celebration. We looked back at an extraordinary year.In March we had celebrated the tenth anniversary of Kgomotso Children Centre, in June we had an amazing Youth Day celebration and in September friends from Germany came over to join us at the first spring camp since 2014. What a year!

However, not only these big events made this year as fabulous as it was. New kids had joined and attended KCC regularly. So, at the end of this year we managed to give out certificates to more than 200 children of KCC for their outstanding performances during the year. We also gave KCC donors and 2 parents who are very supportive to KCC their well deserved reward certificates.

We are proud of our kids. The majority of children had improved their marks and passed well to the next grade. All our 5 matriculants passed very well and are now busy enrolling in varsities. Good luck to you!

This event has been hosted for 5 years now and has become one of the pillars in the year. The aim is to encourage children to do more in their different activities, discover and improve their talents, as well as closing up the year nicely with food, speechs and performances and a never ending party.
