Welcome to Kgomotso Children Centre...

...your home of comfort since 2007!

Kgomotso Children Centre is a drop-in centre in Block NN (second phase), Soshanguve. The centre is open for boys and girls from the age of 4 to 18 years every day. Currently, more than 300 children and youth from Soshanguve and Winterveld come to KCC everyday. The centre provides them with their basic needs, offers a wide variety of educational and leisure programmes, and gives them an opportunity to learn, play and laugh in an environment of safety.

In this township children suffer from poverty, neglect and abuse, some are orphans. They are exposed to diseases like HIV and AIDS, crime, poverty, neglect, and abuse.

We offer five different programmes, including a children's club, afterschool care, a feeding scheme, education about breaking the cycle of violence, and sports and arts programmes.

At KCC children are under the care of trained staff and experienced volunteers who add to the centre with their different skills and talents. They offer programmes like dancing, singing, acting, netball and soccer. Moreover, there are a lot of other activities, discussion groups, and educational training programmes – and children are provided with food, clothes, and medical care.

KCC was legally registered in 2011 with the department of social development as a non-profit organization (NPO). There are no fees required.
