Spring cleaning and new rooms

Recently, KCC has been working on improving its facility. Now, the centre has got four toilets, a higher fence to the neighbor's stand and an upgraded kitchen.

There have been a lot of workers around at KCC during the last couple of months. The rapidly growing number of children had made it inevitable to improve the structure at the children centre. First of all, new toilets had to be installed. With four toilets KCC now meets the requirements of the Department of Health.

Secondly, a higher fence was set up on top of the wall to the neighbors. They had been complaining about the many balls which had been kicked or thrown onto their stand. In November, the kitchen was the centre of attention. In the constant search for more storage possibilities, a new made to measure cupboard as well as a wall unit and shelves were installed.

The next and last project for this year is the pavement of the front and back yard. In preparation some of the senior boys have already been helping to get rid of the trash in the backyard.
