Freedom day is sports day

This freedom day KCC kids were invited to take part at a sports day at Block GG in Soshanguve. They mixed with kids from another centre to enjoy the games they played together.

About 80 kids from age 11 to 18 had made their way from KCC to the playing ground. There they met with peers from another youth centre called Jehovah Jaira. The kids from both organizations were mixed in different groups and teams. They competed in different sports such as stick fighting, Dibeke, netball, skipping rope, tennis and soccer. It was a fun day for all boys and girls.

Community fun walk against substance abuse & youth celebration

On June 16 KCC hosts its 6th annual community fun walk against substance abuse & youth celebration at Machengers sports ground, Block LL. The event will start with a fun walk raising awarness of problems faced by the youth. Later on the Machengers ground there will be performances by CID, Sebata D, France born again, KCC kids, and as a special guest speaker TV and radio personality Kgaogelo Mosomane.

Everyone is welcome to celebrate Youth Day. Come and join us in fighting against substance abuse!
