The KCC United girls soccer team won their first soccer tournament, yesterday. The event organized by Soshanguve Local Drug Action Committee saw the girls of KCC win their first trophy.

It had been worth going all the way from Blockk NN to Block HH where the tournament took place at Mafumboka Primary School. After great matches the girls were proud to bring home their first trophy. What a great success!

Besides the soccer matches there were aerobic sessions in which the caregivers participated and trained their skills.

At the end of February, KCC hosted another workshop for girls. It was supported by Grant Kekana Foundation which had linked up with KCC at the end of last year and Tshwane Township Kids.
