On 6 December a youth group from Rustenburg came for a visit to KCC. The Rainbow Souls had been looking for some youth centre to support and had found KCC in the internet.When they arrived they brought donations which they had collected in and around Rustenburg the weeks before they came. "They saw us at our website and wanted to do something for the kids." Kgomotso, programme manager of KCC, explained. "They played with the kids and donated food and clothes."
From December 10 to December 12 the girls of KCC went on a three days camp for girls at Magaliesburg organized by Kea Modise of Bontlebame. It was a time of learning, recreation and lots of fun.The retreat was for girls who had taken part in the workshops held by Bontlebame at KCC this year. The first day was spent swimming and playing in and around the pool. On the second day girls were offered two different workshops in the morning. One workshop was held by a lady from Dove company who talked with girls about confidence.
